I created "Posty" in an Intaglio Printmaking class in college. This technique involves a metal plate to etch, and acid to "tint". The Metal plate is then heated and covered in ink, cleaned, and moved through a printing press over paper. This technique is challenging, time-consuming, and rewarding (and requires professional equipment). Post Malone is one of my favorite artists, and I wanted to dedicate this piece to him and capture his essence.
